Have this trek fuel xl frame I always wanted to ride but I am too short. Slapped 24” wheels on it and took it for a spin. I do not hate the look of wide short tires on it. Anyone else tried this silly setup?

Felt bad for my child riding a bike heavy as a tank. Decided to canibalize my trek fuel of its rolf dolomite wheels, manitou fork and Hayes brakes. What a pleasant surprise that the wheels fit in this 24” frame. Much lighter now and feels faster.
